Hello again,
My son was able to put the PVC treb together without any difficulty. The
directions were great. Thanks again for getting it to us just in time to
meet his school deadline! We've gotten it to launch just about 50 feet. He
can't use more than 5lbs. cw and has to launch a 17gm superball. We had to
play with it a bit and finally ended up bending the hook up a little because
it was launching to early. That advice was in the instructions you sent so
it was very helpful. We may still play around a bit to see if we can go
farther but he is very happy with it now. His final competition is coming
up and he is confident his treb will do well. I never knew much about these
before now but they are pretty cool and a great part of history.
Thanks again for all your help. I will definately recommend you:)
We are thrilled with the
trebuchet! Our daughter was lobbing golf balls 32 feet the other night,
into her
Dad's swimming pool. What fun! The project is due Monday... I've told her
she will have to fight the boys in her class to keep them away from the
trebuchet.
The [plans] arrived just in
time for the weekend and a beautiful day weather-wise. We assembled it (the
instructions were the best ever!).. and lobbed golf balls in the front yard
yesterday evening. Neighbors gathered to watch this fascinating machine!
Thank you so much for the kit and the speed with which you sent it.

Got the [plans] last night. Put it together. It is bigger than I thought it would
be. Works great, but I am planning several modifications to it to increase
range. My best shot so far (without ANY tuning) is 21 feet. Thanks!!!
I would recommend this to anyone who wants a quick way to learn the basics
of Trebs and see one actually work.
THANKS www.trebuchet.com !!!!
